My two identities. Chapter 7

(Sonic's Pov) 

I ran towards Amy as she collapsed into my arms, she'd been shot just below the waist. I lowered her downwards and rested her against my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and gently rocked her backwards and forwards. 

"Everything is going to be fine" I whispered. 

She nodded silently and closed her eyes. I looked up towards the warehouse roof, if we could get out I could get help. The chances of us escaping were getting smaller and smaller. Amy needed me and I wasn't going anywhere. 

"Sonic.."  Amy said.

"Yeah I'm listening" I replied.  

"Go get help... I'll be fine like you said" Amy whispered. 

I didn't say anything. I didn't want to leave. Her forehead was beginning to get cold and sweaty; her skin pale and colourless. I was going to lose her if I didn't do what she said. I looked at her, I had to tell her now before I lost her forever. 

"Amy I.. I love you" I managed to say.

"Ohh Sonic I love you too" She replied with tears beginning rolling down her face. 

I laughed and said "Why are you crying?".  

"Because I'm so happy" she replied. 

Suddenly the roof began to creak. It didn't take long for me to realise it was because the roof was closing up. 

Our only way out. Gone.
