My two identities. Chapter 6

I held Amy towards my chest and covered her. Werewolves around us were falling like bricks onto the warehouse floor. I placed Amy on the ground.

"Play dead" I whispered.  

She stared at me, and then grabbed my hand as if she knew I was about to do someting stupid. I looked up at the gunmen and then back at her. When I looked at her all I could think was her saying ' I've met someone'. Those were her words exactly, how could she? I know I should of told her sooner about how I felt but...

"Sonic!!" Amy yelled.

"Huh.." I said. 

" Play dead please. Don't go." She pleaded.

I could see the fear in her eyes. I couldn't look at her, I knew it would just persuade me to stay. After all she had her new boyfriend to be with, I couldn't get in the middle of that. I scampered towards the people in the pods, I could hear Amy calling my name. I heard her say something about lying? I ignored her and carried on going.

I stretched my hand out towards the pods and smashed them into each other. They plummeted onto the wareouse floor; black fumes were escaping into the air, I'd done it. The warehouse roof was still open, we could possibly wall jump up, I could teach Amy how to do it. I swivelled around to where I'd left her, she sat there with tears rolling down her face. I ran towards her and skidded to a stop in front of her.
 
"Whats wrong!" I said panicked.

"You always do this!" She yelled.

" Um.. what?" I asked.
                                          
" You always rush into stuff without caring about anyone else!" She yelled.

"Why should you care anyways.. You have other people in your life now." I muttered.

" I lied.. I thought it would make you admitt to your feelings. Now I see you don't have any!" She screamed.

Amy got up and began walking away from me. What had I done? I suddenly understood what I had to do, I was going to tell her about how I felt..

"Amy WAIT" I shouted.

She spun around and looked at me. Suddenly two gunshots were fired.

Amy had been shot.
